20% of world oil deliveries go through the Strait of Hormuz and shipping traffic is down 97%. Once the markets realise this isn't changing in a hurry the oil price is going to head much higher again.
Regardless of what Trump may suggest, the war will not be over while the Strait of Hormuz is closed.
