Apptron can of course be used for instant dev environments. Unlike Codespaces/CodeSandbox/Replit it's entirely open source and runs entirely in-browser. No cloud compute necessary, making it cost almost nothing to run!

This is a big one. Apptron also lets you embed Linux software on **any web page**. Great for software playgrounds, demos, etc. No separate Wasm toolchain like emscripten necessary!
