Wearing another from my ÇaFleurebon Best of Scents Top 10 today, it was also one of my most worn perfumes last year. Perfumer Celine Barel has composed a rather beautiful & unique take on vanilla.

Schiaparelli Shocking but done properly.

Benzoin gives the dry down this delicious intoxicating smoky cloud sensation that wraps you in a seductive embrace. Big love for this classic.

Ok I’m breaking my rules again but technically this was picked up at the end of 2023 so it’s really one from last year. Plus I wanted to wear it today. Jicky is a perfume I’d wanted for ages & each time I wear it, it makes me want to wear it more.

Luca Turin uses it well, he’s got short texts for free but his reviews are behind the paywall.

But Lemon8 is so fetch.

This was one of my Best of Scents Top 10 for CaFleureBon last year too.

It gets beautifully cosy with vetiver & woods losing its sharp greens softening into a creamy aromatic musk with just a kiss of sweetness. One for galbanum lovers & one I’ll be revisiting in the spring & summer. A cosy ode to nature.

Dandelion is a green dream that had me remembering lying in the grass in fields near my house, soft creamy bitter vegative fruity greens with a cool breeze magic up that feel of endless summers feeling nature and the air around you as to make a wish & see where it takes you.

Dandelion arrived late in the summer and stole my heart at first sniff, though I was good and waited a tested a bit to make sure, but my instincts were right.

So so good.
