7 chapters left of my new book Bad Dog to edit, and then itβs ready for release.
Brain power permitting, of course.

Thanks for an action-packed chat!
Autism Acceptance Month (April) is right around the corner. While I'm booked up for in-person events, if there are any interviewers or podcasters looking talk to an autistic writer/horror person, feel free to reach out.

Well, Gree, it was fun talking Aliens but you had me fight one with an axe and my Choose Your Own Adventure endedβ¦poorly.
But! I respawned and Iβm back at the beginning with a collection, a few containing my own cosmic threats. Awesome cover done by @stinasdemons.com!

Since a few folks seemed intrigued by my Synaptic Sprawl Mythos, I thought I'd share a link to my directory of those stories: bradleyramsey.substack.com/p/the-writer...
Would love to know what you think! Feedback is always welcome. π
My WORK, not word.
Literally spotted that mistake as I pressed send.
Amazing session this week @greethewriter.bsky.social ! Some great stuff from #HorrorWritersChat
My word mentioned this week were:
Wrath of the Land (gloopy mass in small town ends world): amzn.eu/d/052HBjko
Station 17 (Thing inspired horror on a sub-aquatic research rig): amzn.eu/d/05ONe1ZV

I swing my axe. Blood splashes into my eyes. I should be more careful. I try again, this time motherβs head comes off cleanly. Thereβs no splashing. At least, none in my eyes. I can see now how Iβm going to fit all of her body parts in the cupboard under the stairs. Neat.

I swing my axe. Blood splashes into my eyes. I now have seconds before the infection takes hold.
With little option, I reach into my coat. The fleshy mutations consume me, turning my body into their own. I think of Lucy. My Lucy.
I pull the pin on the grenades. Goodnight.
Thank you!
@biggreenbooks.bsky.social Iβve pinged you a DM with my new address.
I have written a piece of flash fan fiction for my AlphaFlashes series that Iβm quite proud of. Should upload it soonβ¦

Demons or zombies. Basically anything humanoid or body horror adjacent that is full FERAL. Only mode they know is attack, attack, attack.
The mutants from Station 17 come to mind from my own work. Something about being chased by a set of bisected legsβ¦
Yes please? π¬
OH GOD! #HorrorWritersChat! I forgot the ultimate in gaming action horrorβ¦
DOOM!
I do find some aggressive nu metal helps with action scenesβ¦
The pointing animation as wellβ¦

Gotta love the character trope of the Everyman whoβs just sick of all this shit. Mostly says βoh come ON!β as another wave ensues. Prob closest Iβve written in that vein is Ronald Pile, the lowly council worker fighting bureaucracy and fleshy monsters in Wrath of the Land.
Of course Predator (and Predator 2)! That King Willie cut is legendaryβ¦
Nom nom nomβ¦
Deathwatch! Underrated horror for me. The barbed wireβ¦
βWhat is this?β
βA dining room.β
βBlood! I hope itβs notβ¦ Chrisβs blood.β
Far too many iconic linesβ¦
Sausages!
I will admit itβs more about mood and atmosphere, but by the end thereβs a fair few explosions!
Have to admit some other films/games mentioned by others have me reevaluating my choice π
Absolutely! The whole soundtrack is just very well placedβ¦
βWhereβs Spoon?β
βThere is no Spoonβ¦β
Opening to the Dawn of the Dead remake is glorious, as are the opening/closing credits.
LOVE Dog Soldiers. Has one of the best Matrix references of all time.
Itβs my choice so yes! Besides, when things kick off, they really kick off. Plus: explosions.
Hi #HorrorWritersChat! Oli Jacobs here, cosmic horror survivor who shares his nightmares with youβ¦
The Thing is the first action horror that comes to mind. Not full on Arnie action, but when it does occur⦠Dawn of the Dead remake is also a shout.
