Back on track… totally out of shape, but enjoyed it alot. Only thing: Driving mud suxx

Survived the 6km of the mud masters 2025 in arnsberg. Was a lot of fun. Been here with my company. Next year maybe 12km ?!

As a result of this amazing thread about 17th century illustrated hatemail in which the recipient was called a werewolf, I had a look at one of the letters.

Now I'm not a historian or linguist, but I did my best attempt at a transcript + translation. Feel free to add to it!

Been helper on mini memphit con last weekend. Bartender is fun, but exhausting. Serving „cold milk“ all evening 😇. Collected quite an amount for charity with a cool team. Thank you @digifuchsi.fuxmau.eu for the cool pictures

My week in a nutshell:
- handelt an excavator
- digging like Hell
- paved a walkway
- mixing concrete

No need for a gym, nice workout moved a few ton of gravel by hand

Sad news of the day: a formerly colleage i’ve worked >15yrs with, has been found dead in his flat yesterday. possibly a heartstroke. he just became 61 yrs old 🥺 farewell and i hope it wasn’t painful. this year sucks.

am 3. Bild steh ich genau an der doppel dröppe. ich trau mich noch net, ich bin den trail laaange net runter. beim hugo iss die noch net so alt. als keep und ich da vor 3 oder 4 jahren runter sind, gabs die noch net. kam erst als die wald/ forstwirte den trail unbrauchbar machen wollten 😛

been on the bike outside for the first serious ride this year. bit exhausting.

Been on bike the 1st time this year, just a smol 1hr round 🫤 riding was still a lot if fun. muddy like hell sometimes. need more practice. due rain , rain and rain, back to indoor training dis week again

Haven‘t got rid of so
much negative energy at indoortraining for a long time. don‘t know if its a good or bad sign. 😬

Today‘s 2 years since i got a call about lunchtime. the sound of his little voice is still ringing in my ears. it fades slowly, can‘t repeat that he said. i never thought after so many battles with my dad, this will take such a long time.

Had a very nice and calm christmas. tonite got a call from a friend, she‘s in an urgent need of a dentist. drove her to the ambulancy and now she‘s waiting for her apointment. good for us, to discover a nice pub nearby
