I actually got laid off. Now I consider myself mostly retired. Or as my eye doctor put in my record “stay at home grandma”.

One of my kids did the name super close to their dead name. The other chose something completely different. They both ended up with names that suit them. That’s the most important thing in the end. Well that and you can always change it later/again if it quits working for you.

I briefly had a job where if my prose didn’t match what Grammarly said I was told to change it because they claimed my grammar was wrong. As if there was only one way of saying something.

Yeah. If my parents in their 80s die I’m not sure I would feel like I could safely bring my adult trans kids to their funerals. At least the youngest is finally 18.
