When my phone is in bedtime mode Google Assistant was smart enough not to talk out loud to me when I tried to set an alarm, but Google Gemini is not. I look forward to the other unasked for "improvements" in my experience.

Home Assistant has started fixing one of my top complaints for new users: the default dashboards. Looking forward to seeing how the new Areas dashboard evolves between experimental phase and final release.

Got my ECOVACS X8 Pro Omni updated to Matter and added to Apple Home, SmartThings and @home-assistant.io This is the first Matter device I’ve tested that has MORE features in Apple Home than Home Assistant. Apple lets you choose the rooms to clean and shows current room when cleaning. #smarthome

Can you tell when I did my @home-assistant.io Yellow CM4 to CM5 upgrade? Went from 2GB RAM to 8 GB RAM. #smarthome #homeassistant

Updating my HA Yellow from CM4 to CM5 did not go well 😅 Had to figure out rpiboot, running Terminal in Rosetta mode, wtf GIT cloning and Homebrew are, which took an hour. After that, things went smoothly until booting back up and ZHA tried to start up. Still left with all 50 Zigbee devices offline

Yup. Even disabling everything under settings only seems temporary. The Echo Hub is the only Echo device with a screen with 0 ads and it’s priced accordingly.
