I've not been active here. It's friendly and affirming. People who think like me. But not a place to affect change. But I am so diisgusted with the Trump cult that I am retreating to my tribe, which seems to have gathered here.

Trump is nothing more than a confused chihuahua. A pet. A toy. Between Putin and Musk, Trump doesn't even know which leg to hump.
Trump is just a mascot. Musk is the actual President of the United States.

A nation that cannot provide its citizens with healthcare, education, and other basic necessities is a failed nation. I'm not sure what you call a nation that could provide those things but chooses not to.

I had hopes, but if Johnson is willing to lie to cover Gaetz's sex crimes then I'm guessing they're going to give Trump a blank check. What's even more infuriating - as if that were possible - is the influence that First Lady Elon Musk seems to have in all this.
Because nothing says you're innocent like suppressing the report of an investigation. Gaetz is a consolation prize. Trump really wanted Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump is either trolling the Senate with picks that he knows will be rejected in order to negotiate slightly less-than-horrific pics later, or he is casting this based entirely on appearance, loyalty, and potential ratings. I can't tell which. He may still think he's hosting a reality show.
Interesting ideas, but I don't know that we can trust Republicans to step up and do the right thing. They would need to grow a spine first.

We need accurate history, not historical fiction. Half of GenZ thinks Abraham Lincoln killed vampires. Novelize it if you must, but you can't present fiction until people know the facts.
