I do - It helps me keeping track of my projects and my yarn stash. I keep notes on my projects and enter the yarn I used for them. That is then directly reduced from my stash, so I have a nice database of what yarn I still have. Mostly, I find my own notes useful in case I'm going back to a pattern.
