It’s good! I recommend it if you liked the anime. It is bit darker but better drawn.

This is my theory as well, particularly given the type of games shown
Since you mentioned it, I’ve paid more attention to this and it’s true: Sega consoles are clearly overrepresented in anime/manga given their popularity.
Also, Nintendo doesn't have this:
This has no translation yet, right?
I loved Honey I shrunk the kids too! I think it was more normal back then for kids to watch action stuff.
What has changed for the better is horror. At least here it was seen as a very adults-only genre but there has been a boom of horror media for children and young teens since then.
And I was a kid who was scared by...The Beauty and the Beast. I hid behind the door and peeked because I was scared of the beast.
I also can't handle horror and liked The Little Vampire for the romance lmao. Kids will be fine.
Everyone has a story like that. When I was like ten, my school's director gave me a book about a man who escapes a Nazi concentration camp only to be captured by the Soviets.
It was fine, I wasn't harmed by it anymore than I was by Sherlock Holmes, Dorian Gray or Robinson Crusoe.
Another telling detail: Since when do goverments decide whether "rights are being violated"?
That's up to judges to decide, right? And the punishment should be the one written in the penal code not whatever the goverment decides, right?
Give censors an inch and they'll take a mile.
Surprise! It took less than two days for the goverment to proprose banning social media, not just for children, but for adults.
And we'll still see fools think that censorship only affects others.
Sorry, I was...disagreeing with you in a sarcastic manner.
The TERF I'm talking about, as well as the one responsible for the "pornography" limit, is the one in the video: Pedro Sanchez and the Spanish goverment.
Think about it. Will someone who doesn't have enough sexual freedom to see a vagina be able to use theirs in real life? Or to show some cleavage? Or to have an abortion?
Better ask the goverment first, since they apparently know better than anyone.
If one doesn't have the right to see a tit or a dick, what rights will you have when the goverment claims something is "misinformation" or "hate speech"? None whatsoever.
"But that only applies to children". Sure, let them just "put the tip in". Don't be a fool.
Paragraph titled that "Pornography is sexual violence" from the "Andrea guide to pornography" by Spain's Ministry of Equality. https://bienestaryproteccioninfantil.es/andrea-guia-sobre-pornografia-para-profesionales-y-mediadores-juveniles/
Paragraph where "Moreover, they can experience erectile disfunction problems" from the "Andrea pornography guide" published by Spain's Ministry of Equality. https://bienestaryproteccioninfantil.es/andrea-guia-sobre-pornografia-para-profesionales-y-mediadores-juveniles/
Table indicating the "Impact of pornography on the brain" including "Castration of empathy", "particularly with women". "Andrea pornography guide" published by Spain's Ministry of Equality. https://bienestaryproteccioninfantil.es/andrea-guia-sobre-pornografia-para-profesionales-y-mediadores-juveniles/
Screenshot from newpspaper "El Español" showing an interview with Andrea Fernández (PSOE). The headline reads "The youngest congresswoman of the Spanish Socialist Party: "Pornography must be regulated, that's where group rapists learn" Two quotes she's in favour of "abolishing" or banning pornography.
Remember that the Spanish goverment thinks pornography is "sexual violence" and that it causes "erectile disfunction", "emotional castration" and group rapes.
Don't be fooled: They don't give a shit about children, they are just reactionaries.
Oh yeah, super nice. Nothing like the goverment tracking every website you visit so they can limit you to a maximun of 30 "pornographic" websites per month.
The TERF anti-porn politicians behind this measure do not give a shit about children or anyone else. This crap is just rebranded Stasi.
Those who support censorship do so because they are dumb enough to believe it will only apply to others.
I believe one of the problems with most "commitee coops" is that they have 3 or 4 players at once when one can easily beat the whole thing by himself.
There is. I think it's part of the whole "Old media vs new media" thing. But yeah, it's baffling and tiring.
I don't think anyone would judge you, personally. I actually imagine you would get along with our lefty anarchist types.
Europeans are skeptic because they believe that, when the time comes, Americans won't walk the walk. Or, worse, throw them under the bus.
I'm not surprised.
Not because they aren't able to - of course they are! - but because the vast majority of those playing games or making them don't actually treat them art, no matter how much they claim to.
The default is the smothering view that games are products.
All according to keikaku
I use "game" as a rule of thumb and only break it down if it's relevant. I think it's a good compromise to avoid confusing people.
For me the biggest thing is that games and toys are played differently, if you try to "win" at D&D, for example, the experience is awful.
In Spanish the root is the same (juego, juguete) and they have similar connotations. For me it's mostly about not playing along with the prejudice that toys are only for children.
I do believe win/lose conditions is what differentiates games from other types of play, but I do not hold contempt for something being a toy or simply not being a game.
I think it matters, but not because one is better than the other. People who use "toy" in a derogatory manner are clearly biased.
I'm sorry, it's canon now. I'm updating your wiki as we speak 🏴
If that were the case, board games would also be as violent, but they aren't. Mechanics are not the reason why we have "glory kills".
I think it's simply a logical consequence of games being "for kids". It's a way of appearing edgier and more mature, no matter how silly that is in practice.
It's excellent, I think it's one of the best games ever made. If you have an old edition, I do recommend to check if there's errata for it on BGG, though.
The fact that you got 80 points tells me you are on the good track and not just aimlessly wandering around London!
Vampire Killer's cover illustrattion is a actually copy of a painting by Frazetta, though Konami was generally far more blatant in their plagiarism, Castlevania II and III are more obviously traced, IIRC.
What? I didn't even pronounce the N, in my mind you were just like an ant that tries.
I like ants but I'll keep it in mind even if I don't ever pronounce it. I didn't know you were Welsh, makes perfect sense now.
Nice one! You were lucky to play the original version of this, too, since more recent versions have butchered this case IIRC.
