Home - Human Authored In a world of generative AI, recognising human creativity is vital This is why we’re developing a Human Authored mark to enable all types of writers and literary translators to label their work as Hum...

I will not be using the Human Authored mark on any of my books.

Mainly because these people who are so-called champions of human art are using AI.

Jesus, shield me against hypocrisy.

When someone says β€žScientists do not want you to knowβ€œ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

I was feeling this just the other day. But you never know it might lift someone out of the chaos for a moment.

Love the fact that in the town hall scene in JAWS, there's nothing on the chalkboard until Quint shows up, meaning that he made a little drawing to show off how scary a giant shark is to help his sales pitch.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Went to a lovely Tibetan bowl sound bath. Really nice but there were a few moments I thought my head would explode like in Scanners.

God help me but I've gone and made a website! It's early stages yet but hopefully I will upload what I'm working on and snippets of my writing for you to peruse.
I'm such an introvert but I managed to creep out of my hole for a bit.

Shit, I have a presidential assassin in my family tree, I don't need to be told some of my ancestors are dodgy as fuck, I've known it since I was eight. Nobody has to carry the karmic debt of their ancestors, but if the wrongs they helped create still exist today, you can work to correct them.

For what it’s worth I don’t use a gmail account and won’t be randomly contacting new authors enthusing about their books and giving them dodgy links to click on. There’s a new wave of author impersonation going round apparently.

a moss choked driveway leading to a closed garage with white door, wherein almost certainly lies the strangling fruit that came from the hand of the sinner I shall bring forth the seeds of the dead to share with the worms that . . . gather in the darkness and surround the world with the power of their lives while from the dim-lit halls of other places forms that could never be writhe for the impatience of the few who have never seen or been seen. . . . In the black water with the sun shining at midnight, those fruit shall come ripe and in the darkness of that which is golden shall split open to reveal the revelation of the fatal softness in the earth. . . . The shadows of the abyss are like the petals of a monstrous flower that shall blossom within the skull and expand the mind beyond what any man can bear

yo, listen. i was skateboarding up the street with my two huskies on leads pulling me along when i was struck senseless by the ever lovin beauty of a tree trunk. it was so rad. so i took a photo and it's uh let's see... gray trunk as the base, like uh... like a blank canvas! yeah. and over top on the left is green moss and then like a whole bunch of light green lichen bros crashing the party and then this orange stuff crawling ip the right side, i guess a different kinda lichen, as if they're montacues and catapults, or whatever those families were in hamlet, i never liked shakespeare in college, more into the beats. but anyways, cool tree trunk!

the moss wall with its irregular shaped but largely rectangular stones was first created on this portland street to render writ small a facsimile of the great walls on the approach to Machu Picchu. the late Edgar D. Stampfell (1932-2013) had visited as a youth and become fascinated by the Incan site's mortarless walls, the careful fitting of piece to piece, to form a pleasing whole. upon his return to portland his courtship of and marriage to meso-american scholar Dr. Gertrude Pitkaginkel, Edgar continued an enthusiasm for many types of Latin American culture, hosting many a Peruvian, Mexican, or Argentine exchange student. There not being much call for door to door salesman after a time, Egdar spent his early retirement helping his wife date pot shards and building and refining the wall you see before you today.

stylized flower cover in reds, pinks, greens, against black backdrop with a circle formed by a white centipede with The Works of Vermin inside in modified gothic script and the author name along the bottom, HIRON ENNES. i have to read this book but sampled the first few pages at powells hawthorne and found them pleasing. few know that the author counts both meso-american scholar Dr Pitkaginkle among ancestors, but also the obscure but very talented French Decadent writers who went only by the names Trompe and L'oeil. Not only were these two inseparable, their surreal tales of sentient bark and moss pathways to other realities deserve a reprint edition. Few recognize that the two both refined the recipe for the perfect absinthe drink that bears their name, but that they were the creators truly responsible for the Album Zutique open book that many Decadents wrote their first stories onto the pages of.
