The first does indeed sound disturbing but the second I can’t put a judgement on without meeting those people because it sounds like it might just be kinning which is a big comfort thing, especially for neurodivergent people. I’m sorry you’ve encountered uncomfortable sides of the fandom either way

Advent day 3, this is another of my drawings from earlier in the year featuring Max Mayfield.
