Oh gotcha! What small details changed? Just wanna make sure I’m looking at the right markings and horn shape :3
Also, do you happen to have a Discord? It might be easier to go over refs there.

Got it. Are the horns, markings, and colors still the same, or are those some of the things that changed?
Got it. In that case we can follow the Lumistera proportions for the muzzle length and eye size, and keep the chamois horn shape so the species still reads clearly.
Do you have front/side references of the avatar?
Are you aiming for the exact avatar proportions, or something a bit more natural while keeping the same markings and colors?
Got it chamois base but stylized around the Lumistera avatar.
For a head build the main thing I'd want to confirm is the horn shape and muzzle proportions, since Lumistera models usually have a slightly shorter stylized muzzle compared to a real chamois.
Oh nice, that ref helps a lot actually.
I can already kinda picture how the head would look honestly.🤯 Btw do you have discord by any chance?
Honestly a donkey with standing ears and that green hair sounds like it would look pretty cute as a head. also do you have a full reference sheet for the character or just the icon on your profile?
I know the style you’re talking about, the toony heads. That’s honestly the most comfortable style for wearing too.
Would you want the ears more upright or a bit floppy like a donkey normally has?
What species is your character though? I’m curious what you’re planning for the suit.
I just checked the donkey on your profile, the green hair with the greys is a pretty nice combo actually. Simple color layouts like that are usually pretty nice to work with for a head.
Do you already have a specific style in mind for it?
Yeah I’ve noticed the prices have jumped a lot recently too. Materials and shipping have gotten pretty expensive for makers, but 3k for just a head can still be pretty rough depending on the design
Do you already have a reference for the character you want the head of? I’m curious what species it is

3 sets of eyes were painted today.
2 commissions and 1 premade suit in the works!

What species are you planning for the paws and tail? I might be able to help depending on what you’re after :)
I might be able to help depending on the style you're going for! Do you have a reference of your deer character?
yeah curly fur heads end up looking really fluffy and cute honestly, I’d love to see the reference of the character you want the head of?
Yeah that’s a really common struggle honestly.
When I build heads I usually try to keep that balance in mind so people can get something nice without going crazy on the budget. If you ever want to take a look, my work’s in my bio.
Yeah starting with just a head is pretty common. Have you started looking into makers yet? I make suit heads as well so I’m always curious what direction people end up going with their first one.
btw are you actually planning on getting a suit made sometime soon, or just thinking about it for now?
That makes sense. Most people end up starting with their sona for that exact reason. The unicorn would still be a really fun suit idea though, especially if you ever wanted something more playful later on. I’ve seen a lot of people do their main sona first and then a second character after.
If you’re looking for a Loona head, I’ve made one before. Happy to share some photos if you’re still searching.
btw are you going for something close to the original design or a custom version?
That’s a tough choice honestly. A lot of people go with their fursona for their first suit since it’s the character they connect with the most. But the unicorn could end up being really unique as a suit, especially with the horn and colors.
If you imagine wearing it, which one feels more like you?
I feel like your sona design leans really well into a semi realistic suit style, especially with the muzzle and ears. The unicorn would be super striking as a suit too though, those colors would stand out a lot in person.
I think it’s definitely doable. I worked on a head with curly hair before actually, I’ll drop photos of it here.
Curly hair on fursuit heads can be a bit tricky to find examples of, so I get what you mean. I’ve worked on a curly styled head before as well attaching it here.
Also just curious, for your fursonas hair, are you planning to have those same curls styled on the fursuit head too?

Oh ok neat. By chance could you make them?
Do you have Discord by any chance? It might be easier to send more photos, sketches, and discuss the measurements there.
The Pitt FURSUIT
Thanks for the photos! Looking at the shape, a flat-base sandal with a raised border (lip) would be perfect to keep those hooves centered and stop them from sliding out.
Since the bottom area is quite large, I’d suggest a heavy-duty EVA foam base with a rubber grip sole for durability.
If you could have any custom accessory for your suit that doesn't exist yet, what would it be?
