I don’t think we talk enough about how the foundational, most aspirational premise of the AI industry is “what if there was a human-level intelligence that didn’t have human rights.” Like. Exploitation is literally the whole point! Of COURSE they hold human life, intelligence and labour in contempt!

My baby cousin celebrated her birthday by playing a rugby game and I am both happy she enjoyed herself but also deeply confused that any genes or influence from any part of our family has resulted in this.

2. the Minister for Disability Issues saying 70% of jobs require drivers licence painting it as an issue w the driving test not disability discrimination

Someone posted to the local FB page about 4 pro choice people with activist pins and rainbow hair in Pak n Save having a go at them for being pregnant, and I never expected such down-with-cis-bus vibes in my local community.
