I mean, I would also freak out if I was the subject of a documentary by the guy who took on Scientology.

The Secret is a 2006 self-help book by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the belief of the supernatural law of attraction, which claims that thought alone can influence objective circumstances within one's life.[1][2] The book alleges energy as assurance of its effectiveness. The book has sold 30 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 languages. Scientific claims made in the book have been rejected by a range of critics, who argue that the book has no scientific foundation.[3][4]

Same. My Dad kept encouraging me to read Dale Carnegie’s β€œHow to Win Friends and Influence People” when I was a kid.

Which would also be a better option. Unlike β€œThe Secret,” it’s actually based in reality.

Garry's Mod creator says programmers over-relying on AI is like using too much porn: 'You lose your ability to ejaculate using your imagination' However, Facepunch Studios founder Garry Newman does use AI regularly: "It makes my job so much easier."

"If you count on AI to always do it, then you're going to lose the ability to think critically."

And even when they are switched, it takes time for them to reach the same efficiency. We’re talking months here, depending on the size.

Looks like 2024 is my last upgrade for a while.

Good Old Original Position.

Game of Thrones’ later seasons leave a lot to be desired, but the one thing that resonated with me is Tyrion taunting a slaver about how abstract other people dying is… until you’re the one who could die.

β€œ7 Countries in 5 Years” but with Sicario/Clear and Present Danger.

Fallout 3 mentioned.

Time to hunt Enclave again.

Reminds me of the story about how my grandfather broke down in tears when he saw how badly my father was hazed.

Apparently it was the only time the old man cried.

Haven’t seen House of the Dragon it in full, but from what I can tell, I think it definitely is smarter and more thought out than the later seasons.

Pacing definitely seems better, with monumental events not happening offscreen.

…Between the two of them

At the same time, I wouldn’t count out Porter and Swalwell’s experience. managing a congressional staff translates pretty well to managing a state. Lots of delegation to staff while you serve as the β€œface.”

Plus, Porter’s pretty smart, and Swalwell’s a pretty good orator.

Steyer’s somebody I’ve warmed up on. The guy’s smart, and he’s done his homework. Strikes me guy who knows how to delegate.

Becerra is probably the best as an admin, but I feel like I’m throwing my vote away if he can’t beat the Republicans in the primary.

Which is why I’d prob. go with Steyer.

Yeah, figures.

Way I see it, Newsom is probably going to get involved, one way or another. Everyone and their mother knows the man wants to be President, and the last thing he’ll want is something like this hanging like an albatross from his neck.

07.03.2026 04:18 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

So, got a few questions:

1. In your opinion, what are the odds of a lockout with two Republicans?
2. So if that ends up happening, could it hurt Newsom’s chances when he inevitably runs for president?

In terms of whoever to pick between the three who are viable, each has their own benefits, and I would recommend you check out their sites for stances. From the looks of it, Steyer’s is the most detailed.

You could also vote for the leading D to prevent a lockout. I know people who are doing that.

Calderon is already out. He endorsed Swalwell.

Nancy Pelosi, in all likelihood.

I don’t know what a β€œDente” is, but I hear it’s popular there.

If you want seconds, you can β€œRide the Dente… Again-te.”

Wouldn’t be surprised if this ripples through the supply chain.

It’s things like this that make me really happy I make video games, not board games.

It’s all good.

In your defense, IW didn’t even model any German infantry. It’s just the tanks being escorted by Americans.

The German military’s presence in the game consists of three Leopard tanks.

On the bright side, MW3’s campaign makes me feel better about my own writing skills, so that’s nice.

Not Ross, but the answer is obviously Woke.

Everyone knows that Woke killed off millions of dinosaurs over several hundred million years.

I tried to smooth talk a Nobel Prize winner so I wouldn’t have to ride a rollercoaster for science.

It didn’t work.

That mod being the most comprehensive and well-developed will never stop being funny to me.

Also, Old World Blues better still be on the table.

That raises all sorts of questions.

Like do all the things before Rank 10 happen, or do they just automatically jump to 10 when you meet them? Does this apply to any optional romantic paths as well?

And that’s before we get to all the implications regarding summoning demons into combat.
