I feel like Descartes sorted this all out a few hundred years ago.
The fun part about computer programs is that they have human readable code that you can just look at and see exactly what each function does. Every single thing that an LLM does is easily explainable as an output of those functions. If you want to say the machine is alive, YOU have to prove that.

I do enjoy me some ultraviolence, so I had a great time with it
I especially liked that they clearly filmed OUTDOORS! With actual physical costumes and makeup and props and sets, for the most part! Grasslands with real grass! Dust in the air! Not a The Volume in sight! I cannot help but stan!
Sticking points may include: ‼️graphic sexual violence‼️ (which I wouldn't have minded so much if the impact lasted beyond a single episode) and dialogue that's very "screenwriter getting the job done" which made m'dude cringe pretty hard at some of the parts where he should've been Feeling Feelings
Me and the dude finished American Primeval, and I gotta say, it was a pretty good time. Would recommend if you like not-very-historically-accurate fictionalizations of real life massacres, a cast with many talented native american actors, and moody instrumental versions of "this land is your land"
