A thread on making wooden fences that works for 15mm (in 28mm you don’t even need to cut them in half). I start with normal coffee stirrers - I buy mine in bulk. Cut them in half lengthwise with a Sharp hobby knife on a cutting mat. 1/

Nice paintwork. The speedpaints definitely help getting units on the table faster.

Pleased I’m rattling along with the SCW project. Last full section of militia. Just the HQ squad & then a full section of Assault Guards for the Republicans to do next. Away next week so progress will slow down but hopefully I’ll get this & the 3rd section based up before I go!

I have two bottles of Vallejo 79886 - Green Grey. The one on the right was purchased maybe a decade ago while I picked up the one of the left last week. The color formula has changed drastically over time.

Thank you! Pants are Pro-Acryl Paynes Grey. Jackets are Pro-acryl dark blue highlighted with Pro Acryl Blue Black and final highlighting mixing in some ivory. Wash of diluted AP strong tone before highlighting.

The AK Interactive Ultra-Matte varnish is very, very good. Runs through the airbrush like a dream.

More 28mm RCW/ Back of Beyond models completed. Revolutionary sailors, various characters and a few WWII German Sea Wolves skulking about. Mostly Brigade Games models with a few Artizan Designs mixed in.

I listened to this episode today and enjoyed it! We use paintbrushes all the time but I never think much about the technology or materials used to make them. The sable vs synthetics conversation was great.
