Crikey! π
@writer77
I'm here for: scale models, hobbies, crafts, board games, cartoons, books (sci-fi, fantasy, mil history), photography, gardening, running/cycling (Tom M on Strava), philately, die-cast cars, coffee, dogs - specifically: pugs. No fascists.
Crikey! π
What a kit! Great work Badger ππ
π I have to say, I did give the third slice a long hard look just now π but I walked away (I'll have it tomorrow) π
My bike on a long pier, viewpoint looking out to sea, with clouds in the sky but rays of sunshine breaking through.
My bike by the sea, clouds in the sky but the afternoon sun is breaking through.
Looking out to sea with broken clouds in a blue sky, the afternoon sun is shining through a break in the clouds.
My bike on a walkway by the sea, looking down the beach that is full of Friday afternoon people having fun, palms trees at the back, blown by the sea breeze, deck chairs and low tables on the walkway invite tourists in for a open air meal.
Today I had a second helping of cake. So now I'm cycling round the neighbourhood. Actions have consequences π
Beautiful βοΈ
Cheers Trey π my old Nikon 7100. I'm using the Nikkor 35mm 1.8G for everything now as both my long lenses are RIP π
Wow, is snow/ice normal in March? It does look pretty, I miss snow (in theory π). Shows how heavy it is, that is a big chunk of tree π
π yes, it was ππ
That works, Iβm not in the US π
Yep ππ a lesson in getting your hopes up (that the dude was going to pull a 1:16 Sherman from under the stall) and watching the sunset instead and getting vertigo from the enormity of the solar system and our place in the universe and then going home with three slices of market stall pizza for 50B π
ππ it rained here too this morning ππ
ππ the big bank of smog at the horizon helps ππ»
ππ it was kaos at the market πππ»
Cheers MC, got lucky I think, there is usually a bank of cloud or smog on the horizon and the sun often disappears into that, but we got a nice show this evening π
Cheers Stef, I made a point of watching the sun this evening. Seeing it as a red ball like that really made me feel like a speck of dust in the universe π
It was certainly a nice evening today Adam π there is a fleet of squid boats here, we see them further out with their lamps. I think this is a standard job, moored for the night ππ
Sunset over the Gulf of Thailand, the sun is orange-red just above the horizon, seen just over the flags mast of a fishing boat, moored in the calm sea. The sky is dark at the horizon, brownish orange above, with a few wispy golden clouds catching the last light.
I quite like this one.

Sunset over the Gulf of Thailand, the sea is calm beneath the golden orange sky, the sun is sinking into a bank of cloud at the horizon. A fishing boat is silhouetted, moored in the middle distance. A few wispy clouds are burning brightly over the sun.
I made it to my secret rendezvous (the market) and collected the package... a little bit disappointed: two German tanks. I stopped building German stuff a while ago, but I'd already committed to this deal π might build them as wrecks or knocked out, as is the current trend. Better pics tomorrow π
Spitfire PR.XIX of the Royal Thai Air Force. PRU Blue overall, with a Medium Sea Grey stripe on the top. RTAF roundels are red centre, white, blue, white, red concentric circles.
The Royal Thai Air Force roundels are very pretty. I've only done about half of the markings so far.

ππ to be continuedβ¦ π
ππ I made sure I wasnβt tailed ππ
Hah, yep, exactly! I can't stop looking at it even though it makes my eyes hurt! πππ»
Yep ππ Been sunny all day, my washing is dry and practically toasted. Don't know where all this came from π
PM giving some belters to the Tories/Farridge by all accounts? ππ
This one is nuts! ππ This is why I wanted to see this pack πππ»
Evening sky over the a calm sea about an hour before sunset. The sky has banks of heavy dark cloud at the horizon, and there are fluffy white mackerel clouds above. A bright glow in the clouds marks the sun, but nothing more can be seen of it.
No kits at the market today, and no sunset, just weird clouds. As I was browsing the market stalls, my kit guy sidles up, "Tanks coming in tomorrow." We exchange nods. Tomorrow it is π
PMQs today. 6 seconds into this clip I am transported instantly back to school. The spontaneous collective "whoaaaa" is primal. Disappointed there was no "You, boy!"
π understandable, the azaleas are spectacular!
