For all we may complain about VAR, it's operators, and how it is implemented in Scottish football.
Without it, the clear and obvious "honest mistakes" by Beaton in turning down two penalty appeals in the last two games would not have been overturned and very likely we would be 3 points worse off.

The semi autonomous version used by UEFA is very good, but again only as good as the human operator so any system used by SFA is already going to be negatively impacted right out the gate.
Yeah, there is a rarely a really good angle for any offside decision but getting the kick point is fundamental.
