It's been a year since the latest East River Greenway segment opened, and New Yorkers use it in all weather and all seasons. Just an amazing success.

Hello, meet Snizz!
Reasons to Live Through the Apocalypse Sunrises. People you have still to meet and laugh with. Songs about love, peace, anger, and revolution. Walks in the woods. The smile you exchange with a stranger when you experience beauty accidentally together. Butterflies. Seeing your grandparents again. The moon in all her forms, whether half or full. Dogs. Birthdays and half-birthdays. That feeling of floating in love. Watching birds eat from bird feeders. The waves of happiness that follow the end of sadness. Brown eyes. Watching a boat cross an empty sea. Sunsets. Dipping your feet in the river. Balconies. Cake. The wind in your face when you roll the car window down on an open highway. Falling asleep to the sound of a steady heartbeat. Warm cups of tea on cold days. Hugs. Night skies. Art museums. Books filled with everything you do not yet know. Long conversations. Long-lost friends. Poetry.
I wrote this on one of the darkest days of my life. It gave me an anchor to hold onto.
Anyone like my new carpet?
beach scene under an early morning sky of pleasing light blue scarred with affectionate by long scraps of clouds: the fade of manicured grass with a suggestion of frost unrolls from the lower right, interrupted by a line of tight tufted yellowing grass like spikey upright straw, this grass itself bordered by a line of solid black rocks, merging in a wandering way with the sand beyond, center of photi... and beyond that, more distant, the strip of sea mirroring the blue sky, with a timeless, frozen quality... and within this other world of water Haystack Rock rises with a pleasing rounded form, framed by a blushing sunrise of pinkish gray, a strip of gold dividing pink from the blue of the rest of the sky
here, have some fish from 2002
My favourite tech troubleshoot is trying to pinpoint a weird noise coming from your PC and eventually realizing it's just your tinnitus
Just wait until conspiracy theorists discover theyβre part of a conspiracy to use conspiracy theorists to spread disinformation via conspiracy theories.
