Where in my reply do I 'act like I'm better than others'? As a Canadian I'm not sure what I can do other than boycotting America as best I can and vote for politicians that are willing to address the issue. Which I'm doing.
Ultimately it's up to Americans to fix their country.

We need to compare to Europe more but don't pretend that it's all good over there. In Germany and the Netherlands the 2nd largest party is the far right party. In France they are the 3rd largest and in Britain the reform party is very popular. We need responsible gov to counter this global trend.
