Avatar def has a white savior issue, but also a pretty good environmental message. Parts of it are eyerolly, others are some of the most outstanding visual storytelling you've ever seen

Art can be problematic and still enjoyable/have value. I think the major difference is whether you acknowledge and recognize those issues or get defensive of them. That said, what you decide to put money towards can be a completely different story and a personal one.
