We are learning about where our school is situated in Scotland and about famous Glasgow landmarks and Scottish inventors. The children have been excited to see places they’ve visited and where they are located on the map. #SocialSubjects #MappingSkills

An incredibly spirited performance against the very best team in the Catholic school league set-up, The team were a credit to the school in their never say die attitude, and their willingness to adapt mid game and keep fighting.

Primary 2 lit a virtual candle for the Aid to the Church in Need vigil for #PopeFrancis. The children also drew candles and placed these on the class #Altar with their prayers. May he rest in peace.

Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, during which palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. #Hosanna #HolyWeek
P6B hosted an Easter egg hunt today for their reading buddy class P2a.
They made and designed the eggs and hid them the playground for their p2 buddies. They then created a map with directional instructions for their buddies to follow to find a little Easter treat! Both classes had so much fun!
Impressed by how the children’s confidence and cycling skills have improved since their first #Cycling session. Thanks to Matthew and Jack from the Glenburn Centre for giving our pupils this fabulous opportunity. We now have over 40 pupils who couldn’t previously ride a bike now riding confidently.
Primary 1 had a fantastic time the farm park today. We learned how to be Conservationists , learning about rare breeds and what animals need to survive, had a tractor ride and had lots of time to play.
I’m sure all the children (and adults) will sleep tonight.
