It's a sign of the times that AI companies are deciding whether or not to allow the military to engage in mass surveillance of US citizens and this is treated as a legitimate debate of two reasonable positions.
I like this Ben Stiller fellow. When he made a movie in Wilmington, Ohio, he was nice to people. And look — he stands up for himself rather than allowing himself to be ritually humiliated.
Now comes the ritual humiliation of NFL players. Just a few people speaking out in defense of their own dignity would make a big difference here.
