I tried for two solid months to get my Cherry Audio VSTs working under linux, using wine, yabridge, and a few other tools and could not get any of them to function properly.
My plan is dual-boot for now, then buy an iMac to get off of Windows entirely.
Unfortunately, there's still Windows apps that have no real alternatives. So a dual-boot is now the plan.
If developers could please make your VSTs/DAWs linux compatible, that would be great!
With Microsoft making idiotic decisions and shoving AI down our throats, I have finally permanently sworn off of using Windows, and installed Linux Mint on my PC today.
I'm no longer conflicted about AI - I don't want it integrated in any way on my devices.
How did you do this? Is there a plug-in for area lights I have yet to learn about?

I am conflicted when it comes to AI.
On the one hand, it can be an immensely useful tool.
On the other hand, I am sick of it being shoved down our throats.
I'm looking into new smartphones and seeing how every single one is pushing AI at us. Scary!
Guess that's where we're headed though...
