Two days and two wargame shows. Here are a few pictures from #Overlord in Abingdon which seemed (to me) a lot busier than last year & some enjoyable participation games.I forgot to take many photos (too much talking) but I did play the MOSH! game that was enjoyable.

A weekend of mixed fortunes for my Swiss in Plymouth this weekend. 2 losses (really should have won one of those as I was ahead on breakpoints until I made a daft mistake), one winning draw & a win.
Highlight was my light crossbows killing a knight to break the Serbian Empire army. #adlg #wargaming
A small MesoAmerican army for a competition in August. No problem 😉 thought. Yet popping down to open DDWG up for the day a new member pops up “Pssst! Want to buy some Aztecs?” And I find myself with 31 extra figures on top of everything else that I’ve bought! #wargaming #figurepainting

Too many projects on the go at once! Finished these Putepecha swordsmen for #ADLG and almost completed the last 2 stands of Assyrians that I’ve been putting off working on. Plymouth Wargames show next weekend with the Swiss for #28mm competition. #wargaming #figurepainting

Me too but as there weren’t any Guards of Traitors Toll townsfolk I bought these on the grounds that there’s a competition in August using armies from the Americas 🤭

It’s a busy day of basing tomorrow having finished my last 12 #28mm Swiss Halberdiers. That 190 figures painted since the end of November or 15 ADLG stands to go with the 4 I already had - back of the group shot. #wargaming #figurepainting

In the first picture the three right hand stands are Lancashire Games although I have used a few of the Perry Swiss heads they sell for conversions to the plastics.
