This silly stunt by the 1-ship flotilla seems to have backfired. They just looked like narcissists with no possible benefit for Gazans whatsoever. The "selfie yacht" hit the nail on the head.
Another strange comment is that it "failed peer review several times". What does failing peer review mean? The paper was rejected for publication? Several rounds of peer review is not rejection at all. It's all part of the process. People making comments like that just show their ignorance.
People that have written academic papers know the severe limitations of peer review. Sure, peer reviewed work has an extra layer of scrutiny.
And the Cass Review itself wasn't peer reviewed, so anyone saying it failed peer review is talking nonsense. The key work it relied upon was peer reviewed.+
