Glad Adobe Animate isn't being chopped but still gonna switch to Moho for future projects. I've been using Flash since High School, can't believe they would so callously just cut a building block of animation.

Yep, keeping it locked to a few with some variation helps narrow down what they actually want. Found early on the more you provide the more indecisive people become.
It really is just this. A good concept artist or game designer doesn't have a problem coming up with ideas. Especially when given a clear direction.
The execs can lie to themselves all they want, this only will make the process worse. Real creatives won't rely on this.
