Moreover, the degree of this modulation correlated with baseline connectivity strength. These results provide insight into how novel BSEP based network biomarkers can evaluate the modulation of large-scale networks across multiple timescales.

We measured brain stimulation evoked potentials (BSEPs) to evaluate how network dynamics change after a brief trial of DBS during #iEEG. The effects were not immediate, and only after DBS was delivered for >1.5βhours, we observed that BSEP amplitude was reduced compared to baseline.
Super excited about this paper where we observe how thalamic stimulation changes network connectivity. Lead by Nick Gregg with Gabriela Ojeda Valencia, Tereza Pridalova, Harvey Huang, Vaclav Kremen, Brian Lundstrom, Jamie V Gompel, Kai Miller, and Greg Worrell

We are very happy and proud to be awarded the The Neuro - Irv and Helga Cooper Foundation Open Science Prize.
To paraphrase Yaroslav Halchenko who was in Montreal to receive the prize on behalf of the whole community.
