Jason Bateman (imo) is absolutely correct.
Trump is nobody without his people. He can barely stand on his own. Call them out, too, just as much.
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."
It's like watching a real life version of keystone cops
This was posted in the new Epstein files release and removed about 20 mins later.
Wonder why that is.
Have you read The Year Without Sunshine by twin cities author Naomi Kritzer? This is a good time for a te-read www.uncannymagazine.com/article/the-...
NEWS: The U.S. Department of Justice has formally moved to block the appointment of an independent monitor or special master to oversee the release of Epstein-related records
This is a must-watch.
βA diplomatic source said: 'The generals think Trump's Greenland plan is crazy and illegal. So they are trying to deflect him with other major military operations. They say it's like dealing with a five-year-old'.β
what the fuck
have we tried turning the country off and back on again
I heard a good point. If that officer felt βthreatenedβ by that lady such that he had to kill her, he is too fragile to be a cop.
Sen. Kelly statement: Over twenty-five years in the U.S. Navy, thirty-nine combat missions, and four missions to space, I risked my life for this country and to defend our Constitution β including the First Amendment rights of every American to speak out. I never expected that the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense would attack me for doing exactly that. My rank and retirement are things that I earned through my service and sacrifice for this country. I got shot at. I missed holidays and birthdays. I commanded a space shuttle mission while my wife Gabby recovered from a gunshot wound to the headβ all while proudly wearing the American flag on my shoulder. Generations of servicemembers have made these same patriotic sacrifices for this country, earning the respect, appreciation, and rank they deserve. Pete Hegseth wants to send the message to every single retired servicemember that if they say something he or Donald Trump doesnβt like, they will come after them the same way. Itβs outrageous and it is wrong. There is nothing more un-American than that. If Pete Hegseth, the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in our countryβs history, thinks he can intimidate me with a censure or threats to demote me or prosecute me, he still doesnβt get it. I will fight this with everything Iβve got β not for myself, but to send a message back that Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump donβt get to decide what Americans in this country get to say about their government.
NEW: Sen. Mark Kelly RESPONDS to Pete Hegseth for censuring him, cutting his military pension, threatening to demote his rank, and warning of possible criminal prosecution for telling soldiers to obey their oath.
BREAKING: WATCH the full 60 Minutes CECOT segment here. This was sent to me anonymously. It appears to be the segment CBS' Bari Weiss killed. www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...
Absolutely right.
AI might be able to summarize (poorly) what we currently know, but a major goal of historical research is to find the hidden surprises out there.
Let me illustrate β¦
Now seems like a swell time to point out that Frontline just released this excellent 11-minute mini-documentary about what happened inside CECOT.
News Team, Thank you for the notes and texts. I apologize for not reaching out earlier. I learned on Saturday that Bari Weiss spiked our story, INSIDE CECOT, which was supposed to air tonight. We (Ori and I) asked for a call to discuss her decision. She did not afford us that courtesy/opportunity. Our story was screened five times and cleared by both CBS attorneys and Standards and Practices. It is factually correct. In my view, pulling it now-after every rigorous internal check has been met is not an editorial decision, it is a political one. We requested responses to questions and/or interviews with DHS, the White House, and the State Department. Government silence is a statement, not a VETO. Their refusal to be interviewed is a tactical maneuver designed to kill the story. If the administration's refusal to participate becomes a valid reason to spike a story, we
have effectively handed them a "kill switch" for any reporting they find inconvenient. If the standard for airing a story becomes "the government must agree to be interviewed," then the government effectively gains control over the 60 Minutes broadcast. We go from an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state. These men risked their lives to speak with us. We have a moral and professional obligation to the sources who entrusted us with their stories. Abandoning them now is a betrayal of the most basic tenet of journalism: giving voice to the voiceless. CBS spiked the Jeffrey Wigand interview due to legal concerns, nearly destroying the credibility of this broadcast. It took years to recover from that "low point." By pulling this story to shield an administration, we are repeating that history, but for political optics rather than legal ones.
We have been promoting this story on social media for days. Our viewers are expecting it. When it fails to air without a credible explanation, the public will correctly identify this as corporate censorship. We are trading 50 years of "Gold Standard" reputation for a single week of political quiet. I care too much about this broadcast to watch it be dismantled without a fight. Sharyn
Per NY Timesβs Michael Grynbaum on X, this is Sharyn Alfonsiβs email to her β60 Minutesβ colleagues in full:
James Talarico: The Bible doesn't mention abortion or gay marriage, but it goes on and on about forgiving debt, liberating the poor, and healing the sick. The closest thing we have to the kingdom of heaven is a multiracial, multicultural democracy where power is truly shared among all people
Amazon is helping fund a $300 million build of a ballroom for the White House. Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity. They are not the same.

Excellent piece that explains why Denmarkβs childhood vaccine schedule isnβt right for the United States.
Every major publication should run a piece like this.

Sounds about right.
Iβve been guilty of this too, but when I read people say, even though theyβre trying to be nice, like βI disagree with Rob Reiner politically, but I am sad by his loss.β
Why do we always feel the need to talk about whether we agreed with somebody politically or not?
George Retes is a U.S. citizen and Iraq war veteran. He was detained by ICE and held in solitary confinement for three days without explanation.
George shared his story before Congress to make sure no American has to endure the same abuse he did.
There has been no debate here among constitutional scholars, historians, political scientists, anyone with a pulse really.
Any telling you that this very straightforward point, one that has been universally accepted for a century and a half, is now an "abstruse" issue is just a liar and a hack.
Correct spelling eludes a New York Times headline.
In line to become U.S. citizens, they were asked what country theyβre from. If they were from certain countries, they were pulled out of line. Just horrible. The very antithesis of what America is. Every Republican should lose in 2026 bcuz of this. Every single one.π www.wgbh.org/news/local/2...
