Anchorman 2 (from what I can remember) was low key an absolutely brilliant social commentary on the actual motivation for 24 hour news stations.

Everything that gives us information is for profit. It's so hard to exist and give accurate, complete information since it doesn't pay.

My partner and I just did our first vacation together. I went into overdrive to make sure I took care of everything I could ahead of time to make sure they were as safe and comfortable as I could realistically control. Crazy cool how love changes your priorities.

My parents have seemed so much happier since they stopped consuming media non-stop. I remember how angry my dad was when he listened to Rush Limbaugh on his commute all the time.

I hope this generation can stay relatively well informed without falling into lockstep with one network/program.
