🐌 Hurrah for Sunday Snailday, & when the garden wild has been far away & adventure only undertaken from an armchair, the wish for all good folks to hold close is that the green & good things still come, that beshelled beasties sneak into bouquets to make hearts sing of spring...

I do prefer just cold airing stuff - it's amazing how fibre choice helps with the whole don't wash till it actually needs it chore list! 🧶✨

My stitch & witch coven has an annual launderette night where we wash & tumble acrylic yarn blankets before donating them - the sheer amount of static off them is like trying to neatly fold a tiny lightning storm! ⚡

Thank you - HTH has been having hot cooked breakfast everyday I've been away from him as my mum thought he looked sad! Think he'd send me off again to have bacon & eggs every morning again...😆🐾✨

Wish we didn't the cost of running it! But to get dry things in winter without the house being full of mildewing airers it's a needed evil - hopefully soon it can go back to being ignored until the next wet winter! ☀️

It just seemed a good idea at the time - moomin has been an on/off project for a few years, made with random no label alpaca yarn from the stash - this is the year for finishing things up! Ooh, tumbled acrylic yarn - it would make interesting shapes for sure fresh pulled from a tumbler! 😆🧶✨

🧶 Pleased to report that alpaca yarn crochet Moomintroll has survived a hot wash & trip through the tumble dryer with the towels in order to become a most fluffy & firm felted fabric - next order of works is to stuff this soft little friend...
