I don't need to know the cause of autism.
Just fund any available care & assistance for people on the spectrum. Let them (or their families) all go to the doctor/therapists and get treatments without having to jump through hoops.
I'm done policing my tone. Time and space made me realize that people being made aware of their own nastiness is worth it.
I had a co-worker (who previously criticized a woman's genitalia publicly) tell me I wasn't overt enough with my sarcasm for him to understand and thought I was "too mean" as I cried because I felt awful that my tone hurt people.
People have called me mean and aggressive for speaking out against misogyny, racism, transphobia, ableism, and ignorance altogether.
Imagine telling women to get more educated, be more composed and measure their ambitions for a lifetime if they want equality and then having to witness this madness…
