It's good to be back in Scotland for the day as I haven't been north of the border for just over a year!

As Jon said make sure you don't book the last Eurostar of the day back to the UK or the last Karlsruhe - Paris ICE train.
It's better to have options to fall back on if you get delayed on any of the legs of your journey

Norbert I travel from and to the UK using Eurostar, the vast majority of my journeys involve going through Germany.
I always incorporate a few hours buffer into my journey across Germany in case of unexpected delays and cancellations.
As you are doing Munich - Karlsruhe - Paris - London

Arras is twinned with Ipswich and they have the aptly named Ipswich Square complete with the British Red Telephone Box 🇬🇧🇫🇷

Like St. Quentin there are quite a lot of Art Deco style buildings in Arras as it was also heavily bombed during the First World War and rebuilt in the 1920s

I avoid going to Paris if I can help it so I tend to use Brussels the most, it is improving as the waiting area at Brussels Midi is much bigger than it used to be but still could be better.

First time coming back to London from Lille and the passport control was a breeze 🛂
I had to give my paw print 🐾 and had my eyes scanned. 👀
The waiting area is quite spacious and pleasant, before long headed down to the platform to board the train back to London #Trainsnotplanes 🚄🛤️

It was time to check in for my #Eurostar back home at Lillie Europe Station
