I coached at a school without one trans kid, but the girls had to be in the gym at 5:45 am and out by 7 am because our sport didn’t matter.

If folks really cared about equity in girls sports, they’d fund them and give them the same access to gyms and fields and uniforms and coaches and busses.

I have ducks and geese alongside a murder dog. You need a good fence to pen the birds, then another good fence to keep the dog away from the pen. Preferably so the dog can't even see the pen. But a determined dog will still get through.
