Really struggling to get behind the team under this manager now. It’s just 90 minutes of nothing. Think I might check out for the season. See you guys in August.

Every time they reportedly up their interest he drops a stinker. Proper bizarre player.
Pleased with the Gravenberch news. I think some are being a little harsh when talking about him as a player. He’s easily top 5 cm in Europe in terms of his ability to carry and take the ball on the half turn. Just need to get one or two more passers in the team to take that burden off of him.
What happened in 22/23? Was that the year he had that freak eye injury?
Gakpo looks a lot better in a support role, rather than the entire attack going through him.
Robbo rolling back the years. The weight of pass from Rio can’t be underestimated, gives him the opportunity to play the perfect cross.
Robbo! He’s been trying that for the last 8 year.
It just comes across as he doesn’t have solutions for any of the problems we face.
If he keeps it up Richard Hughes may just sack him and go into next season without a head coach, as apparently it doesn’t matter!
Usually I would say spurs are too good to go down. But the teams below them are all capable of picking up points, nobody is absolutely shite. They’re in trouble I think
It happens all the time and you can see Slot clapping on the side line. He would not be clapping if it wasn’t what he wanted would he. I think his perception of what is intense football is not aligned with the fan base.
I agree somewhat, but we don’t know what the instructions from the coach are, so hard to know how much blame to put on him.
I don’t think Virgil is lying when he says he wants us to be front footed. But Slot is a class A gaslighter when he says that we want to be intense and press from the front. We all have eyes, we haven’t been that team for his entire tenure. Even when we were good we were passive under him.
They either sack him or give him a new deal, I don’t see the latter happening personally. They are data guys, and there is a large portion of data now which suggests we are a mid 60 point team under him. With the right profiles signed he’s better than that, but doubt we will be a 90 point team again
I’ve said since October I don’t think he will be the manager at the start of next season. Still think that’s the case. If not, he will be gone before Xmas this year, it’s inevitable. They’ve missed the boat on sacking him this season now so will be here till the end.
Watched back that Curtis jones chance. Gakpo literally kicks it away from his chest, 1 yard out. Say what you like about how we’ve played this season, I agree with most of the discourse. But some of our players haven’t half made some brain dead decisions. Absolutely baffling.
Our fitness levels are not up to standard, players are absolutely spent at the end there. All of them them walking around. Chiesa been on the pitch 10 minutes and looks like he’s just done 90 plus extra time.
Jones on for gravenberch at HT I think. He’s on a yellow and getting dog walked but their midfield.
League. Have a pop in the CL, but qualifying CL next season too important. I feel we can be a real force again next season with the right recruitment. FA cup just a bonus.
Interesting. Had him down as more of a carrier.
I’ve seen you mention he would help our build up. Didn’t really see him as that type of player. Admittedly I’ve barely watched Brentford play this season.
We have really missed frimpong, offers something we just don’t have. Mo not having to get chalk on his boots the biggest positive.
So fitting that it’s a partially blocked shot that ends up going in. Get in Cody lad.
Seems a tad low that
How Slot has the patience to watch this gakpo performance and not hook him for Rio is honestly impressive.
That gakpo chance was only 24% chance of scoring ?
Gakpo haters eating well tonight
I have family that live there. If you can work remotely or retired it would be a lovely place to live.
Yeah. I just mean that if you have 4 then you increase your chances of always having at least two fit and in form. In an ideal world of course. Post salah we probably need two right wingers, a proper Salah back up wasn’t never really needed because of his availability.
Surely if you tackle someone that is a defensive duel won. If not then I’ve no idea
