I’m not saying I’m not disappointed with her perspective, just that it’s not entirely invalid. Studying social policy for 5+ years has taught me not to be surprised when politicians are politicians is all.
Love your work, and agree that we should all be outraged though.
What she talks about in this discussion with Klein is not wrong. I don’t advocate for the more conservative approach on any LBGTQ+ issues, but she’s right to say that messaging matters. Especially considering a contemporary electorate that couldn’t care less about most of queer rights.
