I think a balance of spending vs saving is best. We got new phones, started purchasing healthy foods that would keep long term, and investing in healthcare needs we’d been putting off. Still planning to enjoy our favorite things until we can’t any longer.

You know what I like most about being a guest at a geeky con? It’s one of the few places in the world where a disabled senior like me is not only accepted, but actually appreciated, encouraged, and valued.
I think we should make the rest of life just like cons. 💖
Final knee procedure (ablation) is 3/13. THEN we get to do a similar procedure for my back! IF they both work properly, I will literally be pain free. I will still have some mobility issues - these procedures make the pain stop but do not fix what’s causing it.

I got knee injection with steroids today. Imma be grumpy and hangry tomorrow probably.
My spouse has that too. Albuterol inhaler has been the most help, along with prescription coffee meds.

I found this very cool coloring book at Five Below. I’ve started coloring as a meditation. I choose the colors based on the attributes of each goddess.
Btw- Five Below has many amazing coloring books that are geeky and also science oriented as well.
I would like to recommend this shop to anyone who loves minis. The quality is amazing, prices are also great, and he’s able to do custom orders. I’ve asked him several times if he could make a specifc mini, and he always says yes.
