Eek, that puts it in perspective!
If I set off now, I could probably walk it in 12 months. π

I have family in LA but don't get to see them much. I grew up with the countryside being my playground, I do like remote.
It would be an honour and you never know what the future holds. π«
I'm in the UK, something tells me I'll need an amphibious car. π€
I'd love that, I have all the time in the world for fellas. β€οΈ
π I am sorry to hear that. π«
I'll never be rich, if I had any money I'd send you some.
That really shows the value of gold plus the fact you met an honest person!
I have a second ring nearly finished. I might donate something and keep this myself as my wedding ring doesn't fit me anymore. π
Loved this! π
I haven't tried setting any stones into anything that I've made but I will get around to it soon. I'll feel like a real jeweler then!
4.25 or 15mm is a tiny ring size. At least you wouldn't have to pay a lot for materials!
Thank you for that! It's not easy to decide.
My first silver Tryzub was raffled off and made about $600 in a week but I ask $125 for them now as there is about $35 worth of silver in each.
I was thinking around $100 to $125 for a custom ring. π€·πΌββοΈπ«Ά
will go to Ukraine but I never know what donation or price to put on anything.
I'd value your opinion if you have time. Thank you in advance. π«Ά
I started this project from nothing, making my own equipment and teaching myself some very technical processes, such as a vacuum based lost wax casting. All for Ukraine.
The rings are a new idea and this is my first attempt.
What do you think I should change for a custom made ring? The money
That's a great compliment, thank you! π«
Thank you! π«
I want to engrave something on this that will connect all the rings together so it can't leave until my laser is working.
If you are interested in getting yourself a silver ring made up in exchange for a donation to Ukraine, let me know. πππ«
After brazing the ring together, I ground the wide section into a complementary shape to match the handle and polished it until it shines.
Braze the ring and edging wire together with silver. Clean and sand off the flux residue.
Roll and hammer the spoon around a tube that is the correct size for the final ring.
In this case, I cut some silver wire and bent it to fit along the edge of the handle.
Here's how it was made, in pictures.
Take one silver spoon and flatten it with a rubber mallet. Shape the end to taste.
The πΊπ¦ Fellaship of the Ring
is nearly upon us.
This first ring is a thank you and is being gifted onwards. β€οΈ
@kezza.bsky.social
See the thread below to see how it was made.
Fellas, I wanted to say a huge thank you to @n1chn4-v1dm4.fellas.social for this donation of silver.
The thought behind this one makes it very special. β€οΈ

Thank you for caring!
Hi toots, I'm sorry for the slow reply. I'm dealing with a chest infection and a sickness bug at the moment.
I decided on this for Julia as it has a more general appeal but I could do most things really, it's just takes a bit of time to prototype and create a master for anything new. β€οΈ
If you check my pinned post there's a link to my fundraising store. I'll post about new items before I add them but I'm fighting off a couple of horrid flu bugs at the moment and will have some more items finished soon. ππ

The silver Tryzub below has been paid for. The money has already been donated towards life saving medical equipment. β€οΈ
Perfect! I made a brass one with a bright green hat and some liked the colour combo so whenever someone says green hat, I never know which. π
Thank you toots! π«
I have nearly finished your silver shark. Can you remind me what you would like me to do with the hat?
Was it a green hat? If so, the green camo pattern or the emerald green colour?
Update: I've finished an antique silver Tryzub pendant (request from Sue).
I've ordered a super powerful vacuum pump from eBay and I've now got some silver solder paste that contains silver, you just put it on and melt it to join silver.
