... I feel like I jinxed myself. Literally right after typing this, one of the IRL folks who, unintentionally, contributes to my sense of misunderstood isolation came into my space and. I am now Not Good once again. oTL

This has been, Diana tries to intellectualize her way out of a spiral. Kinda worked. Feeling a bit calmer now, at least.

To make that kindness, gentleness, understanding real, even if only in the dream space fiction provides.

The quest to give form to a yearned for understanding and kindness. If it's impossible, as it often seems, to encounter that healing in the spaces we must navigate daily, then at least to sketch into the ether a version of what it could be.

Imagining how it would look to approach our pain with gentleness. How that could be made practical and doable, even if in an unreal space. And especially when it involves parts of ourselves we feel are dismissed, misunderstood, unwanted by our larger environment.

And, parallel to that, the healing potential of it. Of the ability to envision a space of gentleness and understanding via fantasy. Identifying the hurts and scars, and approaching them with gentleness.
