Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson.
I know a lot of people are put off by large, complex fantasy epic series, such as the cosmere books, and I can understand why. However, this story can stand on its own and is such a charming story that reminds me of The Princess Bride and Stardust.
Sorcery by Terry Pratchett
Oh, wow, that's amazing, thank you! I'd like to choose the second shelf from the top, please.
Yumi and the Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanderson

So it begins...first Christmas present wrapped.
La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman
La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman. Now that the Book of Dust trilogy is complete, I'm planning one doing all three back-to-back.
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson; a much lighter Cosmere story than others I've read to date. In terms of style, it sort of feels like a mix of Stardust and Discworld.
