Get the Midnight achievement by completing the main quest line in all zones and reach 90 (which will happen naturally by completing the quests). Then Soridormi in the inn will "untangle" your timeline and allow skips for alts! Liadrin will also offer the intro skip.

I'm literally staring at Soridormi on an alt right now trying to decide if I'm going to skip 😅, but there is some choice--you have to skip the intro to open the other zones but don't have to do Eversong next even though it's out of order story-wise. Now I just have to decide what I'm actually doing!

So yes, it's taking a bit of time to decide who would rush to SM and who might show up later. My dwarf pally will probably go through the intro too. The velf might wait and then walk around being an irritation as is his way. 😅 Two trolls will skip but do Zul'Aman. Yeah, it's A Whole Thing!

My core group (except for my main) will pretty much just level casually and craft--a druid will do Harandar (I need to see if she too ignores the mention of world trees). One belf mage has gone through the opening and a belf pally will soon. I feel the belf shadowpriest really should...

I love Midnight but damn is it messing up my chore-management! I think my crafter crew might end be being strictly crafting because some alts NEED to do the story (even if geared horribly), while others can just show up after the big events. (It's all RP in my head, including how/when they arrive.)

Stunning! Wisteria factors so heavily in my OC's backstory that I can't NOT get these.

Vaskarn has been trading crests since Dragonflight. In Midnight, the names now contain the same level name as the item you would be upgrading: Adventurer, Veteran, Champion and Hero. This image is of the window that opens when you click on Vaskarn in Midnight showing the different types crests and their cost.

I've not seen anyone mention the one very important QOL improvement made to WoW in Midnight that had me yell, out loud, "ELUNE BE PRAISED": the crests are now the same name as what they upgrade! #warcraft #WoWMidnight

Watching a demo of how you can turn every NPC in your RPG town into somebody who says "That's right — you *are* the four LIGHT WARRIORS. You make a great point! The bridge to the main continent *does* need to be repaired, and you're just the person to do it."

Given the choice and number of questions you get to ask, a lot of attention was put into this quest, but, I can't help but think someone forgot to flip a switch to turn on, "if character is night elf then.." and yeah forsaken too! Heck... the option to share the blame or have regrets regardless!

Yes, in my head canon, my main made air quotes to Hagar, and yes I have the screenshots to keep being mad about both of these things. I love that these bits are in the game, but I do not love that those of us playing as the people most directly affected by what happened just have to roll with it.

I went Eversong > Arator's quest > Harondar, Zul'Aman and just finished w/ some sides left for Voidstorm last night. Most of this was on a ground mount (Taivan - though Voidstorm doesn't really have roads). I knew I'd have to dodge spoilers and knew it would take some time but so worth it!

And the people mad at some of the Light devotees going overboard... acting like they never met an evangelical in RL and see the harm they can cause and how bigoted they can be. They just doing with magic what RL bigots do with legislation and goon squads. And it's not even as bad in-game!

[exhales] Reached endgame... still got 4 pesky sides for sojourner in Voidstorm but I'll pick those up tomorrow. Whewwww. I'm guessing there will be lead-up quests to the raids coming soon. (Kind of mad it was spoiled though, but not mad with how it turned out.)

An option during a quest that allows you to choose to not kill wildlife outright. It says, "I don't want to kill young wildlife. Is there something else I can do?"

I literally just posted about being being given a choice that is specific to rogues that didn't sit well with me and the very next quest I pick up has THE choice I wish I had EVERY TIME I've been asked to slaughter wildlife since I started playing.

Anyway, listen to the music that plays when you turn in the quest... if you've played Legion you should recognize it though it's a more somber version of it. How are these side quests hitting me so hard!? 😢 (And I started this thread as a complaint about a quest choice!)

But to say "violence is good" is just... it just feels wrong. I chose to do it because I wanted to know what happens. The one thing that makes this choice feel better is that you put it on yourself too. Which yeah, that -is- totally in character. 😅 And the ending does turn out well...ish.

Arlaeya's done terrible things but it was always more careless curiosity--this feels malevolent. I mean, she's mogged with Fangs of the Father which should tell you everything you know about making questionable decisions involving violence (and Void for that matter) depending on who asks.

Dialogue with Gentle Paa'he, a broken Draenei in the Voidstorm when you are asked to splatter the present Draenei with blood to empower a gate. Clicking on him brings up the dialogue: "Gentle Paa'he looks at you with innocent confusion. There's not enough blod for all the draenei. Perhaps not all of them need to be drenched?" The player, if a rogue, gets an option to splatter him too with the words, "Violence is good. He should partake."

Dialogue later on the in the quest chain where Gentle Paa'he simply asks, "...Friend...? Which isn't helping how I feel about the choice here!

I may main an assassination rogue and do my share of violence but Arlaeya would never say "violence is good" or force something on an innocent (knowingly). So, I had a conundrum: don't choose the rogue-only option or do something that felt out of character? #warcraft #WoWMidnight
