Got lucky looking up and seeing this beautiful iridescent cloud in Exeter, NH, followed by scenes from my bike ride late this afternoon in Rollinsford, NH and Berwick, ME as an isolated downpour sat almost stationary about 10-15 miles northwest of here.

Last night's total lunar eclipse collage that I made for work this morning - For those fortunate enough to have clear skies overnight, a total lunar eclipse was visible. Here is the sequence as viewed from the summit, with a snapshot taken every 15 minutes throughout the event.
Yeah, essentially they are…the sites located within the belt of the Westerlies (ie jet stream) are significant but some of our blizzards have origins up in the arctic circle so the more data you can sample on Earth the better off you are.
TL:DR Less data into a weather model (yes, even AI) makes the model less accurate.
