California Governor Gavin Newsom is taking a bite out of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth after the Pentagon’s lavish spending frenzy on premium crabs, lobster, and ribeye steak came to light.
The military Hegseth is in charge of was standing in line at food banks to feed their families during the SNAP crisis, while Hegseth was spending 9 million dollars on crab legs.
A total of 93 billion is estimated to have been blown by Hegseth.
That’s an entire year’s worth of ALL SNAP benefits.
So Pete Hegseth went on a $93 billion taxpayer-funded spending spree, including buying a $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano, $55.3 million worth of iPads, and $6.9 million worth of lobster tail.
And they have the audacity to ask Congress to approve additional funding for this illegal war?
