Do your characters believe in luck or fate? Actually, yes. Strange. Usually in my contemporary stories I have at least one level-headed MC who doesn't believe in such things. This bunch are total believers!

My preferred genres: This is a trick question for me because I read across all genres. A good story is a good story. I do tend to lean more into paranormal and cozy reads. Cozy horror is one I'd like more of.

Like a lot of kids these days, he gets absorbed in one things and doesn't pay attention to anything else around him. You have to be aware of stuff happening all around you while driving, especially when other drivers aren't.

That's good advice. I already get my son to text me when he gets to his location if he's going anywhere after school. He sometimes walks to the library with friends to play D&D or Magic.

I'm not so worried about him knowing how to technically drive, but about him being aware of his surroundings.

Glad everyone is okay from the car wreck. I'm having anxiety that my son is starting driver's ed next month, and he'll be a licensed driver by the summer. Any tips on how to ease a parent's worries about their kids driving?
