Most penalty takers are also club's top goal scorers from open play. And even the best penalty takers can still miss, its not 100% guarantee.

I think you can put it in context of how many goals are penalties but they are still goals and are a skill in themselves. So they count towards the stats.

Baffled by that. A corner leading to a direct goal is about the most obvious assist.

This is *the* most frustrating aspect of our play. We take the lead and then sit back to "control the game". We didnt press them until they got the ball on the edge of our box. It just about paid off today thanks to lack of quality from them mostly.

Did TNT sports turn down the microphone picking up the crowd noise? The commentators went on about an amazing atmosphere but, other than our fans, it sounded like a tennis match - all i heard was clapping and the occasional cheer.

My brother has explained that they deemed haaland fouled dom and prevented him from stopping the goal so they then had to take it back to the original foul when dom fouled haaland to stop him getting to the ball and kicking it quicker/harder into the net.

We've had a few horrific injuries. Nothing can be done about that. I'd like lfc to sign another attacker but I think the priority should be a CB. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like we're signing one of those yet either. We need more depth (something we've had previously) across the field tbh.

We showed that wasn't the case in the second half though. We outplayed them when we decided to play. A couple of penalties being actually given and/or some more fit goalscorers and we'd have won last night.
