As I was typing my rundown, the Iditarod announced that Jaye has scratched in Rainy Pass. She had a really tough day yesterday and it took its toll, I guess. Her dogs are all find and happing and I'm very proud of Jaye for all it took just to get to the starting chute. #mushersky #iditarod54

And just as I type this Jessie is up and moving down the trail, so he's the leader at the moment. Paige appears to be getting ready to go as well. About 2 miles behind them is Bailey Vitello who is likely going to take over one of those camp spots, having run from Rohn. #mushersky #iditarod54

Jessie Holmes rested for about 4.5 hours in Rohn, leaving about 45 minutes after Paige and stopping to camp on the trail at basically the same place as Paige, 33 miles from Nikolai. This puts Paige on Jessie on about the same schedule which is very interesting. #mushersky #iditarod54
