When you demonize and harm the immigrant, the poor, the sick, and the marginalized with oppressive laws, you don’t need to tell me about your religious beliefs.
You've already shown me what they are by how you're mistreating the immigrant, the poor, the sick, and the marginalized.
I have always worked to lift others up, to inspire with the presence of God, to try and make life better. It's feeling more and more like that isn't going to be possible for much longer. I really hope I'm wrong.

Every horrible and ridiculous thing that he does doesn't compare to the number of people who still spout the propaganda in support of it. Until that number goes down, it's just going to keep getting worse. It won't last forever, but I'm afraid it isn't ending anytime soon.

God has never been present in corrupt systems or the people who support and perpetuate them. God is always present on the margins. The Kingdom of God is at hand, and it is within each of us who share God's concern for the poor, the marginalized, the broken, and the oppressed.
