this shit treatment of artists who use third-party distributors is pretty clearly an effort to push more of us toward tidal's new, much simpler direct upload service which, conveniently, generates *no* streaming revenue for artists + also grants tidal a worldwide, royalty-free license to our work.

i'm still waiting for support on a ticket i opened 3 weeks ago. or, at least i think i opened it, but i can't really be sure, because tidal does not generate confirmation emails or provide correspondence of any kind during 'service' interactions. no case numbers, no ticket ids, no way to follow up.

for ex: i get that catalog mapping is complicated but this is frankly so bush league. no shade to the other MUNA but you should not be in the middle of an expensive, meticulously planned album rollout when suddenly music by someone who is definitely not you starts showing up on your artist profile.

gotta say that as a listener i have really been enjoying tidal since jumping over from spotify but as an artist i would rather eat batteries than attempt to work with tidal. spirit airlines ass customer service operation over there jesus christ.
