If anyone were to look at my recent shopping history, you would think that I have gone off the deep end.
But don’t worry - it’s just for a LARP

And also because I’m a responsible person, I had to sit with the dog to give her her pills because her owner needed to go take a shower and go out to eat with friends.
She ate 90% of the pills so I will call that a win.
As it turns out, her owner (my idiot brother) took her to the vet after she vomited at the groomers (and pooped on the rugs last night). As they are still at the vets, I have gone to the local Irish pub for dinner!
With my parents on vacation for 2 months, I’m the backup dog nanny. Which means the later I go home after work, the less outdoors time the dog has.
I worked late tonight so was going to go home rather than grab some dinner (because I’m a responsible person who cares about the poor dog)
The shots that the Wheelchair curlers can make without anyone sweeping for them is insane.
And if that isn't enough Celtic Rock music for you, Enter the Haggis also released earlier this month their Live Concert Documentary from the last 2 shows they did last year! I was there (in the balcony both nights)!

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, have a free Gaelic Storm concert from Milwaukee that was live streamed by the PBS station there earlier this week: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cl0...
It’s insane that it is still 60°F at 9:43pm in March.
I’m watching wheelchair curling and there is no commentary on this game - just the mic’d up players.
One of the players has a bit of a sailor’s mouth on him and has dropped the F-bomb twice. The first time I wasn’t sure but he definitely just said it again.
There were copious amounts of geese flying north this weekend which is a good spring sign. However, I have not heard any peepers yet.

Woo! My boss just offered me tickets to Riverdance tonight. I had totally forgotten it was coming locally.
By this time, I could see a little old man walking up the road and one of his shoes kept scraping the pavement.
Luckily I distracted the dog king enough where she didn’t go apeshit at seeing someone walking. She won’t run into the road but she barks like she is going to.
lol I was out with the dog and we both started hearing this noise coming from the other side of the pine trees. I wasn’t sure what it was (deer? bear?) so I quickly tried to get her inside.
She almost went up and then went back to see what the noise was.
I never change the clock in my car. It hardly ever matters since if I’m using CarPlay it will pick up the time on my phone.
Need a suggestion of what to watch tonight?
40 years ago today, Highlander was released.
There can be only one choice as of what to watch today.
A curly haired white needle felted sheet with a small green heat near its left foot
I stabbed myself so many times tonight making this damn sheep
I’ve been emailing all week that two of our stores hadn’t gone to the bank. Everyone ignored my emails.
Today’s email I put how much outstanding cash there was missing and OH LOOK! They went to the bank and sent in the deposit slips!
Two needle felted tulips - one yellow and one pink
I’m making flowers now. (I will not subject you to the horror of the cat that I made that could have been an extra in the Cats movie)
Zero.
Who knew that RMA numbers were unique and that if you return something with a different RMA number on the label, you’re not going to get credit for returning your item?
I will tell you that this information is mind blowing to our managers & district managers!
The first step is admitting to yourself that you need help.
Don’t forget - there is a lunar eclipse peaking in about 6 hours! If you’re in the East Coast, you should be able to see the rising sun and the setting moon at the same time.
It was gorgeous here this weekend. My parents were so annoyed because they normally would have left for Mississippi on Saturday but my dad has a doctors appointment on Tuesday so they are having to wait. And now the weather is turning bad again.
It was 11°F when I left the house this morning. No snow but I think we’re getting a mix tonight
A needle felted highland coo with a bright orange top coat (it looks much redder in person)
Still making coos. Body shape was much better and his legs all hit the ground!
Spent way too long trying to fix an audio delay on a video. The delay was an easy enough fix but Plex in the Xbox refused to play the fixed files. I made line 7 files and I could only get a 380p version to play.
Randomly clicked on “Force Play” worked. Glad I spent all that time transcoding.
A needle felted chicken with yellow wings and a multi color neck.
Guess what? Chicken butt!
They are very quirky and fun and super nice despite the prolific number of murder-death songs. I’m still alive despite going on numerous trips with them!
They have a bunch of videos on their Facebook page if you want to check them out beforehand. The motel reviews are hilarious.
@evolbrew.net @shoelais.bsky.social Not sure how either one of you feel about celticy folk trios, but my friends House of Hamill are playing at Waldo Folk in KC, MO on 3/25.
If it helps to sell you on them, half of their songs are about murder and/or death. But not by the band. They are really nice
